Customer Care Associate / Customer Service Rep (Only for California Residents)
OVERVIEW:
Our client, a major PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Services) entity owned by 20 non-profit health plans serving >33 million members and benefits manager of government programs including Medicare and Medicaid, seeks an accomplished Customer Care Associate / Customer Service Rep.
• * LOCATION: 100% REMOTE || Candidate should be based out of California
• * DURATION: 6 months contract with potential of extension / conversion to FTE
• * WORK SHIFTS: Shifts will be given between 6:00 AM and end at 10:00 PM M-F .
• * TRAINING SCHEDULE - FIRST 5 WEEKS:
• Mon-Fri | 8:00am-5:00pm Pacific (For first 3 weeks)
• Mon-Fri | 8:00am-4:30pm Pacific (For first next 2 weeks)
• NO Time-Off policy by client during Training period i.e., 1st 5 weeks.
IMPORTANT Remote / Work-From-Home related:
• Start Date: 11/17/2025.
• Equipment will be provided.
• Candidate MUST have high-speed wired internet connection. Wi-Fi / Wireless connections not allowed as a violation of policy and can lead to breach of Private Health Information (PHI).
• Candidate MUST have a reliable home-office environment
• Candidate MUST be on camera during training / work hours, especially during attendance call.
• Candidate MUST follow business casual dress code during working hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Looking for customer service experience with the following: High call volume Pharmacy background if applicable.
• Proficient in computer software navigation and dual screens 24/7 call center
• Ability to handle complex calls
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attendance is an important factor in this position
• Strong communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: At least High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Top 3 Must-Haves (Hard Skills)
• Typing 30-35 WPM minimum
• Call center experience (High Call Volume)
• Customer service experience
• Microsoft office proficient
Nice-To-Haves (Hard Skills)
• Pharmacy Technician experience
• Behavior health experience
• Insurance or Claims processing
• Preferred: Bi-lingual for Hmong, Spanish, Mien
Must-Haves (Soft Skills)
• Communication and Verbal skills
• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate orally in the English language is required
