Position Overview

The Assistant Faculty – Part‑Time Remote Instructor for Computer Information Systems (CIS101) plays a pivotal role in creating an engaging, supportive, and academically rigorous environment for our online undergraduate learners. You will collaborate closely with lead faculty, academic coaches, and support staff to facilitate student success throughout the Fall quarter and beyond. Key Responsibilities

  • Student Interaction & Guidance: Monitor discussion boards, assessments, and peer‑to‑peer interactions; provide timely, constructive feedback that aligns with course objectives and promotes critical thinking.
  • Live Session Facilitation: Conduct weekly live study groups, Q&A sessions, and one‑on‑one tutoring meetings via webcam; all live sessions must be conducted on camera to foster a personal connection.

Essential Qualifications
