Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching and instruction to students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless delivery of education
• Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Collaborate with other educators and school staff to achieve common goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, with at least one from a previous direct supervisor
• NJ Substitute Credential
• Background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• A passion for education and a commitment to putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience
