About the Role: Frontend Coach (Non-Complex) - WM

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Frontend Coach (Non-Complex) - WM. This role, based in a remote setting, offers not only a challenging and rewarding career opportunity but also the chance to be part of a vibrant and diverse community. As a Frontend Coach, you will play a pivotal role in driving success through leading, developing, and coaching teams, ensuring exceptional customer service standards, and contributing to the financial performance and sales growth of designated store areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback through the Tour-to-Teach method, and collaborating with all levels of associates on store operations, technology utilization, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensure customer needs are met, and develop action plans to address any deficiencies.
  • Financial Performance and Sales Growth: Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and operational processes.
  • Supervision and Development: Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and provide direction and guidance on applying these in business processes and practices.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following minimum qualification requirements:

  • 2 years of college
  • 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience

Additionally, for facilities that sell firearms, you must be willing to undergo a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and complete Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities selling only ammunition with state-specific requirements, you may need a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
