About the Role

As an Offshore Operator 2, you will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining oil and gas treatment and processing equipment, including two-phase separators, amine plant, compressors, pumps, scrubbers, and chiller units. You will troubleshoot process problems, make minor mechanical repairs, and perform regulatory monthly testing to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining production, ensuring compliance with all rules, laws, and ordinances, and contributing to the overall success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain oil and gas treatment and processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and production.
  • Troubleshoot process problems and make minor mechanical repairs to keep processing units online.
  • Monitor wells for maximum production, using variable speed drive electric submersible pumps.
  • Perform regulatory monthly testing and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
  • Input daily oil, gas, and water production volumes into our Company computer program.
  • Assist the Lead Operator with data entry into our facility maintenance Mainsaver software program.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of oil and gas treatment and processing facilities to ensure longevity and efficiency.
  • Comply with all rules, laws, and ordinances of all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in operational experience, with a working knowledge of oil and gas process equipment. You should have:

  • At least three years of operational experience in a similar role.
  • Satisfactory completion of T2 process facilities training.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel software programs.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to perform minor mechanical repairs to standard oilfield equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote or offshore environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Familiarity with facility maintenance Mainsaver software program.
  • Certifications or training in relevant areas, such as Swing Rope Certification.
