Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll provide Physical Therapy services to guests, assisting in treatment, program planning, and implementation, while functioning under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll be responsible for:
  • Assisting in related documentation and communication, ensuring accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Functioning under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, providing guidance and support to patients and family members in home programs and activities of daily living.
  • Instructing patients and family members in home programs and activities of daily living, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Collaborating with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing setting, with a strong understanding of patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.
  • A Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
  • A passion for lifelong learning and continuing education, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on the latest principles and practices in Physical Therapy.
