As a Part-Time Remote Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll be responsible for:- Assisting in related documentation and communication, ensuring accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Functioning under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, providing guidance and support to patients and family members in home programs and activities of daily living.
- Instructing patients and family members in home programs and activities of daily living, promoting independence and self-care.
- Collaborating with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicating effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:- An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing setting, with a strong understanding of patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.
- A Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:- Experience working in a remote or virtual healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
