About the Role: Virtual Design Sales Consultant
We are looking for creative, driven, and empathetic design sales consultants to help grow our newest team. As a Virtual Design Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through one-on-one virtual design consultations. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver on sales and service KPIs, productivity standards, through one-on-one virtual design consultations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
• Utilize multiple software applications, including 3rd party and proprietary tools, to provide customers with personalized recommendations for their budget, style, and space, staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.
• Create elevated designs for customers using preferred design tools, including mood boards, 2D floor plans, product lists, and style inspiration, to help them visualize their ideal living spaces.
• Leverage your sales and interior design expertise to navigate customers through their design needs and purchases, providing expert guidance on product features, functionality, style, and product coordination.
• Efficiently manage your time, prioritizing the customer experience and maintaining a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development, staying informed about marketplace and design industry trends, and sharing innovative ideas and solutions to improve team operations and customer experiences.
Essential Qualifications:
• 2+ years of sales experience required, preferably in a design-related environment, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Interior design certification or degree, with 1 year of interior design experience preferred, and a strong understanding of basic design principles, including spatial planning, fabric selection, and interior design styles and trends.
• Passion for great customer service, with a drive to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences, and a strong desire to see the teams around you succeed.
• Excellent organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Demonstrated use of technology to drive business results, with an affinity for virtual communication and video conferencing, and proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4+ years of sales experience in a design-related environment, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Bachelor's degree or college diploma equivalent, with a strong academic background in interior design, sales, or a related field.
• Experience working with design software and technologies, including 3D modeling and virtual reality tools, and a strong understanding of the latest design trends and technologies.
