Employment Type: Full‑time, remote‑first
Start Date: Immediate openings

Core Mission

As a Platform Professional Services Consultant on the Identity team, you will be the trusted technical advisor who partners with customers to design, deploy, and optimize the Falcon Platform and its Identity‑focused capabilities. You will translate complex security requirements into actionable roadmaps, ensure seamless installations, and provide ongoing guidance that drives measurable value for Fortune‑500 and mid‑market clients alike.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • End‑to‑End Deployments: Lead the full lifecycle of Falcon Platform implementations—from discovery and planning through installation, configuration, optimization, and hand‑over to support teams.
  • Technical Enablement: Conduct hands‑on technical workshops, demos, and proof‑of‑concept sessions that showcase the platform’s identity and access management (IAM) features, such as Spotlight, Discover, and integrated SSO solutions.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve deployment challenges across small businesses to global enterprises, leveraging deep knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Automation & Scripting: Create reusable scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation pipelines to streamline software distribution, configuration management, and post‑deployment health checks.
  • Integration Excellence: Guide customers in integrating Falcon with third‑party identity providers (Azure AD, Entra ID, Okta, etc.) and SIEM tools, ensuring a cohesive security ecosystem.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Partner closely with internal product, engineering, and sales teams as well as customer IT groups to capture feedback and shape future platform enhancements.
  • Reporting & Governance: Produce detailed deployment status reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation that align with enterprise governance standards.
  • Travel & On‑Site Engagement: Be prepared for up to 50‑60% travel, including multi‑month on‑site rotations that deepen client relationships and accelerate adoption.

Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of hands‑on experience in IT deployments, enterprise security, or consulting.
  • Identity & Access Management Expertise: Proven experience working with Entra ID, Azure AD, Active Directory, Okta, SSO, and MFA solutions, along with a solid grasp of role‑based access control (RBAC), conditional access, authentication, and policy enforcement.
  • Software Deployment Proficiency: Mastery of native and third‑party deployment tools (e.g., MECM, Intune, Group Policy, Puppet, Chef, Citrix, PDQ, PsExec) and a track record of delivering large‑scale rollouts.
  • Cross‑Platform Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, including command‑line tooling and system administration.
  • Scripting Skills: Ability to write and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate repetitive tasks and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Analytical & Problem‑Solving Acumen: Strong diagnostic capabilities to investigate and resolve complex technical issues, often under time‑critical conditions.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with a talent for translating technical concepts into clear, compelling language for diverse audiences.
  • Self‑Motivation & Adaptability: A proactive, results‑driven mindset that thrives in fast‑paced environments and embraces continuous learning.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills – What Will Set You Apart

  • Hands‑on experience with security‑focused deployment platforms such as McAfee EPO, IBM BigFix, or similar.
  • Advanced scripting expertise in PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Batch, with a portfolio of automation projects.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, Azure Solutions Architect, or Okta Certified Administrator.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability and asset management tools, especially CrowdStrike Spotlight and Discover.
  • Experience delivering consultancy services in a remote‑first or distributed team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior consultants or lead cross‑functional workshops.
