Role Overview
As a Reconciliation & Control Principal Coordinator, you will play a critical role in our financial operations team, responsible for executing activities in a fast-paced, multi-function team environment. Your primary objective will be to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile General Ledger activity: Perform general and complex reconciliations within your assigned scope, maintaining the health and accuracy of our General Ledger.
- Develop Subject Matter Expertise: Continuously develop and enhance your knowledge and skills within your role, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Create and process journal entries: Prepare and process journal entries with accuracy and appropriate supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with our financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor correspondence and respond timely: Manage and respond to correspondence and inquiries in a professional and timely manner, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Report General Ledger exceptions: Identify and report any exceptions or discrepancies in the General Ledger to partner lines of business, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing financial risks.
- Contribute to process improvements: Participate in process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for automation and efficiency gains, and recommending solutions to enhance our financial operations.
- Collaborate with teams: Work closely with partner teams, including accounting, finance, and operations, to resolve issues, share knowledge, and drive business outcomes.

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certification is required for this position.
- At least 1 year of Banking experience: You should have at least 1 year of experience in the banking or financial industry, with a strong understanding of financial operations and accounting principles.
- At least 1 year of Google Suite experience: Proficiency in Google Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, is essential for this role.
- At least 1 year of reconciliation or accounting experience: You should have at least 1 year of experience in reconciliation or accounting, with a strong understanding of financial records and transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:
- At least 2 years of Google Suite experience: Advanced proficiency in Google Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, will be highly beneficial in this role.
- At least 2 years of banking experience: Additional experience in the banking or financial industry will be highly regarded, particularly if you have experience in financial operations or accounting.
