Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, ensuring the highest level of customer service experience consistently.
  • Manage customer accounts, provide technical support, and assist with application data entry.
  • Respond to online chat inquiries as assigned, interpreting and following defined procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively manage time and tasks, prioritizing multitasking and task management.
  • Commit to extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent on passing required exams.
  • Adhere to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels, maintaining a high level of professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s and a dedicated, private, and secure workspace.
  • Own a personal laptop or desktop computer required for the training period.
  • Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period and complete a background check and health screening.
  • Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible).
  • Possess moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable working from home in a self-motivated and success-driven manner.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer support or technical support role.
  • Familiarity with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act.
  • Previous experience in a call center environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $14.50 to $16.00, with enhanced rates contingent on weekly attendance and performance. For Spanish bilingual candidates, the base pay starts at $15.50 per hour, with an enhanced rate of $17.00 per hour. Additionally, you will be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including paid training, 401K match, Individual Coverage HRA (ICHRA), and paid time off (PTO).
