About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Recruiter to join our remote team, specializing in travel and healthcare staffing. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and selecting top talent to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values, and vision of TotalMed
  • Apply training and specialized knowledge to understand the specific needs of each client and identify suitable candidates
  • Independently screen, qualify, and select candidates according to brand/client standards, communicating specifications and requirements effectively
  • Respond to inbound candidate applications, qualifying them for potential openings and maintaining a consistent flow of qualified candidates through active and passive sourcing
  • Develop and maintain internal databases to capture accurate candidate/prospect information, sourcing activity, placement information, and other relevant data
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal sales and recruiting teams to create partnerships that yield success, results, and credibility
  • Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection, determining their employment acceptability and managing concerns during assignments
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2+ years of professional customer service experience, preferably in a recruitment or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce (preferred)
  • The ability to travel during strike events and work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • An understanding of the healthcare industry, with active affiliation with healthcare organizations (preferred)
  • Experience in recruitment, staffing, or a related field, with a strong network of contacts and a proven track record of success
