About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Account Manager of University Partnerships to join our team. As a key member of our University Partnerships department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies to grow our transfer articulation and military programs. You will be responsible for managing existing relationships with community colleges, military branches, veteran service organizations, and other partners, as well as identifying new opportunities to establish partnerships that will help SNHU become a top choice for community college and military students.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure SNHU has representation on all identified community college partner and military installations and events
- Promote SNHU Global Campus educational and partnership programs to community college partners and military educators, service members, veterans, and their family members
- Travel to community colleges and military bases to recruit military personnel, their spouses and children, and community college transfer students for SNHU Global Campus educational programs
- Build strategic territory outreach plans to recruit community college graduates and military-affiliated populations, including service members, veterans, and their family members
- Build and maintain relationships with important influencers at community colleges and within the military, including senior leaders, base education staff, partner veteran service organizations, and state military leaders
- Refer enrollment inquiries to admissions staff and coordinate preliminary transfer credit evaluations for undergraduate or graduate programs
- Seek out meaningful partnerships with organizations that promote the education and general well-being of military-affiliated members
- Build awareness, advocacy, and develop degree roadmaps with military schools to articulate military credit through "road-mapped pathways" for both undergraduate and graduate programs
- Act as a SNHU Military ambassador to provide in-person and virtual support to students in assigned territories
- Maintain compliance with the Department of Defense Memorandum of Understanding and State requirements, including Base Access processes and recruiting and admissions requirements
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Prior military service or experience working with military populations
- A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, business, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in higher education strategic account management, with a record of solution selling and relationship management across military and community college channels
- Prior experience as a military outreach representative for an institution of higher learning
- Experience producing measurable results for partners, delivering higher education solutions
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
- Ability to travel 50-75%, including overnight travel, and live within a drivable distance to a major airport
- Residence in the DMV area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) or North Carolina
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with community colleges and military populations
- Knowledge of higher education trends, policies, and regulations
- Strong understanding of the military education landscape and the needs of military-affiliated students
- Experience with degree articulation and transfer credit evaluation
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $75,528.00 - $120,865.00, with a target hiring range of $83,457.00 - $112,912.00. In addition to your salary, you will also receive:
