About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Regional Manager to join our Donor Ministries team in the Northeast region. As a Regional Manager, you will play a vital role in cultivating meaningful relationships with ministry supporters and identifying, developing, and deepening new relationships with prospective ministry partners. Your goal will be to grow a strong base of support for BGEA's ministries, ensuring the continuation of our evangelistic efforts for decades to come.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate the vision and mission of BGEA to donors and prospective ministry partners, inspiring them to support our evangelistic efforts
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to build relationships with select ministry partners and prospects, resulting in meaningful contact and relationship building
  • Maintain and shepherd a caseload of 100 Top current gift ministry partners and 200 Priority ministry partners, including current gift and deferred gift donors, and prospects
  • Initiate and build relationships with ministry partners and prospects through personal visits, events, gatherings, and referrals
  • Complete an acceptable level of partner interactions, including visits, contacts, touches, happenings, and events
  • Possess firm and growing knowledge and confidence to assist partners with current gift and deferred gift opportunities
  • Deliver prompt follow-up from lead generation efforts and large gifts
  • Report various areas of performance to the Director, Regional Managers, as required
  • Consistently participate in required Donor Ministries team meetings
  • Relate to and communicate effectively with Donor Ministries team, other Regional Managers, and all BGEA staff

Essential Qualifications

  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Faithfully uphold BGEA in prayer
  • Participate in daily BGEA staff devotions, including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as scheduled permits
  • Demonstrate behavior aligned with BGEA's Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
  • Effectively represent Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence
  • Bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience required
  • Five to 10 years' experience in a related field, with Donor Ministries-related experience preferred
  • Effective personal and telephone communications skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Attentive listening skills
  • Experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement donor relations management practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising, development, or a related field
  • Knowledge of donor relations management practices and software
  • Ability to conduct personal meetings with approximately 20-40 people weekly
  • Sensitivity to the various needs of donors of all ages, including the elderly
  • Efficient time management skills to effectively represent the ministry in a multi-state regional area
