About the Role: Remote 4-Day Weekend Shift Customer Care Agent

We are currently looking for talented individuals to fill the role of Remote 4-Day Weekend Shift Customer Care Agent. As a Customer Care Agent, you will be the face of our company, working with customers over the phone, on live chat, and through email to create raving fans for Lighting New York every single day. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers have an outstanding experience with our company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, live chat, and email in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a fair and courteous manner
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about our products and services to customers
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges as needed
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as sales and marketing, to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and knowledge of our products and services
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction scores and response times

Schedule and Work Environment:

This role will require working a 4-day weekend shift, with each shift being 10 hours long. The schedule will be as follows:

  • Saturday: 12:30pm-11pm Eastern time
  • Sunday: 9am-7:30pm Eastern time
  • Monday: 10 Hour Shift between 9:30am-8pm Eastern time
  • Tuesday: 10 Hour Shift between 9:30am-8pm Eastern time

We offer flexibility in the schedule per day, and you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home. However, you will need to provide a secure and quiet work environment with a strong Internet connection. We will provide all the necessary equipment for you to perform your job duties.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications, such as CRM and helpdesk software
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or communications
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with the lighting industry or online retail
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
