Job Overview

The Customer Practice Manager (CPM) for Media and Entertainment will play a critical role in driving business growth, developing long-term strategies, and executing against those strategies within the Media and Entertainment vertical in the United States. As a trusted advisor to our customers, the CPM will promote and sell transformational blithequark programs, driving strategic and financial value through cloud transformation. The successful candidate will have executive-level experience in driving business-level discussions and proposals on enterprise-level strategic solutions in the Media and Entertainment domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business outcomes by articulating accelerated customer outcomes through cloud transformation
  • Execute long-term strategic customer transformation roadmaps with a high bias for action to deliver results in blithequark and platform bookings in the near term
  • Develop a unified account plan and pursuit plan that aligns with the blithequark account team (direct sales)
  • Establish executive relationships across business and technology groups, including executive sponsorship of programs
  • Establish an internal network at blithequark, including critical organizations such as the account team, partner team, global services organization, finance, and legal
  • Assume the role of strategic advisor and expert with deep knowledge of the cross-section of the customers' business and the cloud ecosystem
  • Deliver on annual bookings, revenue, and customer satisfaction targets with deal structure aligned with defined customer outcomes and blithequark business objectives
  • Support scale through shared learnings and mechanisms across the blithequark team

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Media and Entertainment industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry and 8 years of IT consulting and management experience in customer-facing roles. A bachelor's degree or 7+ years of professional or military experience is required. The candidate should have a proven track record of scoping, selling, and delivering large-scale enterprise IT transformation programs, with experience in leading solutions that include core products, third-party products, and custom-built solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A consistent track record of achieving sales targets and opportunity management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including workgroup leadership and executive presentations
  • Domain expertise in 2 or more of the following areas: content production, media supply chain, direct-to-consumer/streaming, customer data platform/audience monetization, and generative AI for Media and Entertainment workloads

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

Our compensation package is competitive, with a base pay range of $138,200/year to $239,000/year, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation.
