Job Overview

As a Licensing Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand value and connecting our products to consumers by managing licensing relationships and collaborating with our internal teams. Your primary responsibilities will include cultivating relationships with licensors, conducting quarterly business reviews, and overseeing the development and lifecycle of licensed designs. You will also serve as the liaison for marketing efforts related to all licensed assets, ensuring alignment with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships by managing daily communications with a portfolio of licensors, ensuring you stay informed on design developments and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct and facilitate quarterly business reviews with licensors to enhance partnership effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and team to oversee the development and lifecycle of licensed designs, focusing on maximizing sales and profitability.
  • Address licensors' inquiries regarding information and sales forecasts, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Assist the Licensing Compliance team in ensuring adherence to licensing agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee a seamless approval process for products and designs, managing color approvals alongside the Art Production Manager.
  • Act as the liaison for marketing efforts related to all licensed assets, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Track and manage product approvals from various licensors, conducting necessary follow-ups to maintain progress.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique combination of skills and competencies, including:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in licensing, with established relationships being a significant advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage and promote multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for successful interactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to work are vital for this role.

Qualifications
