About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Learning and Development team within the Airports Group. As a key member of our Airport Execution and Status team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by driving the development of our training programs and strategies. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, business, and finance, to integrate innovative solutions that meet business needs and reduce colleague effort
  • Recognizing, anticipating, and delivering innovative learning and development strategies as technologies continue to evolve
  • Planning and delivering groundbreaking training programs within budget and on time, utilizing technology capabilities and emphasizing quality, impact, and speed to market
  • Laying out and assessing metrics that measure the effect, effectiveness, and efficiency of all training programs, ensuring effective resource utilization and speed of delivery
  • Leading the training development team to successfully execute on performance objectives for training products and programs, including 80% of newly added team members achieving anticipated goals in at least 90 days, and 85% of repeat training participants achieving anticipated performance expectations
  • Applying data-driven insights to develop solutions that improve training effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity
  • BUILDING strategies for dynamic content development, support, and delivery that is centered on a modularized approach and agile training responses to address performance gaps
  • Managing SCORM compliant Knowledge Management System (KMS) training content and related knowledge check tests and assessments
  • Closely collaborating and facilitating with multiple stakeholders to leverage available resources and maintain alignment with critical business objectives

What You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Education, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience leading instructional design teams with a proven ability to recognize and apply new learning technologies and methods
  • Experience in leadership positions, developing colleagues and managing cross-functional teams
  • Broad experience overseeing and executing large, complex projects

Preferred Qualifications

A plus if you have:
  • 3+ years of administrative experience in Learning and Development, Technical Training, program management, or project management
  • Driven successful training programs that improved representative performance and positively impacted the business' overall performance and effectiveness
  • Major knowledge of instructional design and adult learning approaches
  • Excellent technical skills with high proficiency in MS Office applications, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar applications
  • Emphasis on continued growth and development for self and team through resources like ASTD, COPC.com, and Gartner Contact Center studies
  • Ability to utilize a variety of teaching techniques helpful for inspiring learning, including models, practice, and intelligence
  • Strong interpersonal skills; extremely friendly and professional at all times
  • Action-oriented, results-driven, future-focused leader with a natural inclination for seeking valuable opportunities that change existing business models
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex topics easily and to interact effectively with all levels, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and develop strong, useful relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
