Responsibilities:

As a Phone and Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously
  • Following established communication scripts to address various topics
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls
  • Performing data entry and customer service tasks
  • Navigating online resources efficiently to verify nurse credentials and facilitate shift assignments
  • Working requests/records received for nurses requesting to sign up for shifts
  • Identifying customers' needs, researching to determine if requests have necessary credentials
  • Adapting to changing priorities and tasks without compromising efficiency or composure
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
  • Providing positive and professional customer interactions
  • Being flexible and willing to cross-train as requested

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
  • Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online resources
  • Previous remote work from home experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
  • Typing speed of 35 words per minute with accuracy
  • A background check compliant with state and federal laws

Pay and Benefits:

As a Phone and Chat Specialist at blithequark, you can expect:
  • Starting pay of $14/hour, with shift differential (extra $1/hr for nights and weekends) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
  • Work hours: Shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST), with rotating weekends
  • Full-time status with 40 hours per week
  • 3 weeks of paid training from 8:00am-5:00pm (CST), Monday through Friday
  • Equipment provided for full-time permanent employees, including a laptop or desktop, USB headset, and necessary software
  • Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection)

Hardware and Software Requirements:

To ensure seamless performance, you will need:
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
  • Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1/10 64 bits
  • Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required
  • Up-to-date antivirus software installed on the platform, with a recent scan completed
  • Firewall enabled
