SIGN-ON BONUS: A sign-on bonus of $1000 is offered for this role (payable to you following your completion of 90 days in the position).
Provide support on Product Operations (formerly known as Specialty Product Team) sponsored programs/products, including but not limited to account set up and handling contacts from merchants, Relationship Managers, HSC personnel, and 3rd party partners. Must have a detailed understanding of Regional Service Team processes including those functions performed by Customer Advocates. This team offers flexible working conditions (Hybrid schedule), split between in office and remote/WFH via work rotation. This schedule is available after successfully completing the training/nesting period as well as meeting team qualifications and expectations.
Responsibilities:
Data entry of merchant information accurately, within specified time limits into the applicable database, using proprietary tools.
Setup specialized, Product Operations sponsored, merchant accounts on HPS internal systems as well as 3rd party vendor specific systems.
Interact with Relationship Managers, HSC personnel, and External Heartland offices via phone, fax, and e-mail to resolve any issues relating to the successful processing of new accounts and maintenance requests.
Stay current with all equipment options, features and functions as it relates to the vendor/product.
Provide customer service support to merchants participating in Product Operations sponsored programs, including POS and account related inquiries.
Meet or exceed production, quality, and attendance objectives of the department.
Regularly communicate details of fulfillment efforts through scheduled meetings and written pieces.
Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned.
Education:
High school education
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum twelve (12) months data entry experience and/or twelve (12) months call center.
Fundamental knowledge of overall Bankcard Industry.
Ability to work rapidly, independently and accurately under pressure to meet departmental goals.
Knowledgeable of company policies, procedures, products and services. Have a current knowledge of your workgroup and department’s procedures, policies, and responsibilities.
Must have a strong understanding of Point of Sale functionality and support
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite applications. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and well-developed problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Must have a strong understanding of overall POS Support.
Strong Maintenance and Application Entry background is a plus.
Level: Works under limited supervision; work is typically routine; refers to standard instructions and procedures for guidance and direction; encounters issues that are varied, but straightforward and may require research/inquiry to solve. Must be able to quickly and accurately perform data entry functions and provide accurate and courteous phone support.
