Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work 3 days a week, with flexible days, providing customer support and performing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be available to work from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM PST and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for managing a moderate call volume, responding to text messages, scheduling for the crew, and monitoring the crew's group chat during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling 15-25 calls per day, averaging 6 minutes per call, and providing accurate information and support to customers regarding services and general inquiries.
  • Responding to text messages and resolving customer inquiries promptly, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service.
  • Troubleshooting any issues and escalating when necessary, using strong problem-solving skills and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Creating and managing the crew's weekly schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered and any last-minute changes are addressed.
  • Monitoring the crew's group chat from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST to address questions, solve problems, and provide guidance as needed.
  • Regularly checking and responding to company emails, ensuring prompt communication with customers and internal team members.
  • Responding to guest reviews, ensuring professional and courteous communication at all times.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure, handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
  • Proficient in using email, messaging apps, and phone systems, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently, with minimal supervision, in a remote work environment.
  • Previous experience in customer service or scheduling is a plus, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, with knowledge of hotel operations and customer service standards.
  • Experience with scheduling software and crew management systems.
