About Your Role

As a Customer Engagement Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for leading our store team in delivering outstanding customer experiences. Your role will encompass three primary areas:

  • Pet Parent Engagement: You'll set the standards for customer engagement, ensuring every pet and pet parent has a positive experience in our stores. This involves getting to know our customers and their pets, creating a personalized shopping experience, and making recommendations tailored to their needs.
  • Associate Leadership: Our associates are the backbone of our stores, and as their leader, you'll help develop a team that's as passionate about pets as we are. You'll lead a team of retail and pet care associates who will ensure a safe, clean, and fun environment for our pets and pet parents.
  • Overall Retail Initiatives: Creating an exceptional customer experience is a top priority for all our leaders. You'll ensure our associates have extensive knowledge of pet solutions, build connections with pet parents, and maintain a safe and fun environment in our stores.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position in Washington D.C. is from $20.65 to $33.65 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. You'll also be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
