Job Summary and Key Responsibilities

The Director of Risk Management and Business Process Improvement will be responsible for leveraging business or customer department data to develop and implement risk management solutions and business procedures. This will involve analyzing structured and unstructured data, interpreting information using statistical, financial, AI, or business intelligence methods, and collaborating with technology and other teams to integrate and execute risk management approaches and business procedures. The successful candidate will also identify and assess new data sources that can add significant value to blithequark's products and services, and drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and systems.

  • Develop and implement risk management solutions and business procedures using business or customer department data
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data, and interpret information using statistical, financial, AI, or business intelligence methods
  • Collaborate with technology and other teams to integrate and execute risk management approaches and business procedures
  • Identify and assess new data sources that can add significant value to blithequark's products and services
  • Drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and systems, incorporating industry best practices and regulatory feedback

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong background in risk management and data analysis. The candidate should also have at least 1 year of experience in risk management, interpreting complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences, working with technical, scientific, business, and non-technical teams, and developing and implementing business process improvement strategies.

  • Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in risk management, data analysis, and business process improvement
  • Strong background in statistical, financial, AI, or business intelligence methods
  • Experience working with MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling, and Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Terawatt, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Unix
  • Project management experience, driving business change, and reengineering systems

The candidate should also be proficient in a range of technical tools and technologies, including MS Excel, Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Terawatt, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Unix.
