As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. **Job Summary** As a Data Analyst in our Quality Control Standards and Guidelines Group, you'll play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. You'll work closely with our team to analyze data, create reports, and develop recommendations for process improvements that align with our organization's objectives. **Responsibilities and Expectations** As a Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include: * Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the Group. * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors. * Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. * May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. **Requirements and Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Business Analytics, or Statistics. * A strong analytical mindset with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and results to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx. * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate business issues, identify opportunities for data-driven insights, and interpret resulting metrics. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. * A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI. * Past internship, capstone project, or research experience in a related field. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. * Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques. * Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure. **What We Offer** As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll enjoy a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
