Job Overview

As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of the company, providing top-notch customer service to both external and internal customers. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate communications, and that their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy. This position is part of the Business Support Services Team and requires excellent knowledge of blithequark's products and programs, as well as the ability to work effectively with team members across the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pleasantly answer multi-line phones and refer calls to ensure accurate and timely communications, utilizing paging, voice mail, or email as appropriate.
  • Log, process, and dispatch sales and service calls efficiently.
  • Greet customers and visitors, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate person or area.
  • Process daily checks, equipment service tickets, and walk-in sales with precision.
  • Manage mail and fax communications, preparing outgoing mail and ensuring timely distribution.
  • Balancing the cash box for front office invoices and processing purchase orders and dunnages for operations.
  • Dispatch orders for warehouses company-wide and order office supplies, business cards, and uniforms as needed.
  • Prepare donations according to procedure and perform administrative tasks for other departments.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, management, and others in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to all regulations, policies, work procedures, and safety rules, promoting a safe and secure work environment.

Essential Qualifications

To excel as a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service position or a combination of education and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge.
  • The ability to answer multi-line telephones and use a personal computer for paging, order entry, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt to change and bring energy to daily and long-term tasks.
  • Demonstrated reliability, with regular attendance and availability to staff and management.
  • A strong commitment to safety and security procedures, with the ability to promote and personally observe these practices.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.
  • A truthful and credible approach, exhibiting respectful behavior in all actions representing blithequark.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

Work Environment and Company Culture

blithequark offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that is moderately noisy due to warehouse equipment. Working hours vary between 6 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break and 40 hours per week. Additional hours may be required occasionally.
