Model and share customer service best practices with team members to maintain a high level of service excellence. * **Providing Efficient Checkout Services**: Register sales on assigned cash registers, provide courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and recommend items for sale to customers. * **Maintaining Store Operations**: Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader. * **Implementing Asset Protection Procedures**: Identify and minimize profit loss by implementing company asset protection procedures. * **Ensuring Compliance**: Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. * **Constructing and Maintaining Displays**: Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. * **Providing Photo Services**: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products. * **Assisting with Web Pick-up and Maintenance**: Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store. * **Maintaining Store Appearance**: Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance. **Essential Qualifications** * **Customer Service Experience**: 1+ year of customer-facing experience in a retail or service-oriented environment. * **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, team members, and management. * **Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. * **Teamwork and Adaptability**: Ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team, adapt to changing situations, and prioritize tasks effectively. * **Basic Math Skills**: Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register. **Preferred Qualifications** * **Retail Experience**: 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role. * **Leadership Experience**: Previous leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and guide team members. * **Technical Skills**: Basic knowledge of store systems and store equipment, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. * **Language Skills**: Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members from diverse backgrounds. **Skills and Competencies** * **Customer Service**: Deliver exceptional customer experiences, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience. * **Communication**: Effectively interact with customers, team members, and management, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. * **Problem-Solving**: Resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. * **Teamwork**: Collaborate with a dynamic team, adapt to changing situations, and prioritize tasks effectively. * **Adaptability**: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our team members' growth and development.
