About the position
Responsibilities
• Incorporate and demonstrate Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors and decisions.
• Establish priorities that align with organizational initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to frequent changes in priority.
• Consult with providers, clinicians, executives, and management to provide support for decisions and workflows.
• Provide critical analysis of data to support assigned programs and articulate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide specialized guidance for integration, architectures, and clinical systems implementations.
• Research and contribute to recommendations for new functionality introductions.
• Support upgrade design processes and decision-making.
• Recommend innovative application solutions to improve workflow, patient safety, and productivity.
• Provide leadership direction for application integration decisions.
• Assist product teams in development of design and required documentation.
• Analyze and reengineer business processes to improve clinical needs.
• Prepare detailed project work plans and status reports.
• Collaborate with system decision-making groups to determine best practice workflows.
• Utilize performance improvement methodologies to address performance gaps.
• Participate in interdisciplinary functional groups for design and implementation decisions.
• Model teamwork within the System Office and with Regional Health Ministries (RHMs).
• Pursue professional growth opportunities.
• Utilize support staff and adopt new tools for project management.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations to ensure adherence.
Requirements
• Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Pharmacy, typically obtained by a Degree in Pharmacy or an advanced degree.
• Must be licensed to practice Pharmacy in Michigan or a state served by Trinity Health.
• Must have two or more years of experience in health system pharmacy practice.
• Experience in supporting healthcare clinical software applications and interfaces.
• Knowledge and experience in leading performance/business process improvement activities.
• Ability to learn Epic's software and obtain Epic Certification.
• Ability to interface with multiple technical and business teams.
• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess team member skills and match them to responsibilities.
Nice-to-haves
• Epic Beacon Certification preferred.
• Experience in specialized healthcare fields.
