<p><strong>Job Title: HR/Office Assistant</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Onsite – Surrey, BC</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-time</p><p><strong>Freshers are welcome</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive <strong>HR/Office Assistant</strong> to support our Human Resources and administrative operations. This is an onsite role ideal for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and eager to grow their career in HR and office administration.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and candidates, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.</li><li>Support HR functions including recruitment coordination, onboarding, maintaining employee records, and assisting with training & development initiatives.</li><li>Assist with health & safety compliance, attendance tracking, and policy documentation.</li><li>Manage office administration tasks such as scheduling meetings, filing, managing supplies, and handling general inquiries.</li><li>Provide support in planning and coordinating staff events and employee engagement activities.</li><li>Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and communications for HR and management.</li><li>Uphold confidentiality and maintain accuracy in handling sensitive employee data.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).</li><li>1–2 years of experience in office administration, HR support, or related roles (internship or co-op experience accepted).</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace; knowledge of HRIS systems is an asset.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.</li><li>Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow in HR/administration.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li>A collaborative and supportive workplace environment.</li><li>Opportunities to gain hands-on HR and office operations experience.</li><li>Professional growth and learning opportunities.</li><li>Competitive compensation and benefits package.</li></ul>
