Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button and sending us your resume.<br><br>Salary $100,000 - $145,000 per year<br><br><strong>A Bit About Us<br><br></strong>Our small, collaborative team has already built many foundational features and is now focused on improving and experimenting beyond a traditional credentialing solutions product.<br><br>We are looking for a Software Engineer who can utilize their broad knowledge of modern software development to create robust scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions that meet the demanding functional and non-functional requirements of the platform and business.<br><br>Using your experience, you’ll be able to drive and champion rapidly changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs of significant scope.<br><br><strong><br><br><strong>Why join us?<br><br><br></strong></strong>Competitive base pay plus bonus<br><br>Full remote options<br><br>Flexible work schedule<br><br>401(k) with company match<br><br>Generous Paid Holidays / Vacation<br><br>Life Insurance/Disability<br><br>Education/Training/Tuition/Certification Reimbursement<br><br><strong>Job Details<br><br></strong>Duties and Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Develop software for both cloud-based and data center hosted platforms</li><li> Proactively collaborate across our Language Services teams to ensure products are delivered successfully, with high quality, and in line with stated requirements</li><li> Provide active leadership throughout the entire development lifecycle</li><li> MUST HAVE prior leadership experience/leading developers</li><li> Lead technical integration efforts with vendor, customer, and partner systems</li><li> Lead continuous improvement exercises to enhance platform performance, stability, and scalability</li><li> Recommend third-party components and solutions as appropriate as part of the core platform</li><li> Ensure data models balance performance and flexibility to meet current needs and future requirements</li><li> Keep up to date with software industry trends, healthcare technology services, video-conference software, mobile applications, and general Software Engineering best practices</li><li> Contribute to specification documents, IP development, and externally facing technical documentation</li><li> Mentor other team members to increase subject matter expertise across the team and organization (this position does not require heavy people management, however)</li><li> Promote and champion industry and company standards for Software Engineering and data security<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience</li><li> 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with significant recent experience using Python</li><li> Experience with RESTful APIs</li><li> Minimum 3 years MANDATORY Django experience.</li><li> AWS experience is MANDATORY</li><li> Cloud experience is MANDATORY</li><li> Working knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions</li><li> Clear understanding of application development and data security standards</li><li> Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes</li><li> Problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning and implementing emerging technologies</li><li> Ability to work in a self-directed fashion while being resourceful and adaptable<br><br></li></ul>Interested in hearing more?
