As a Senior Director at blithequark, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about using data and AI to drive business success. **Key Responsibilities** As a Senior Director, Customer and Marketing Data, Applied AI, and Analytics, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include: * Developing the long-term vision for a data product portfolio or strategic capability that drives strategies, requirements, and roadmaps * Owning and leading the customer, loyalty, and marketing data ecosystem and serving the customer and marketing organization with actionable analytics to support delivering top-line sales and productivity improvements * Developing a culture of innovation and experimentation and encouraging two-way door initiatives that address customer needs * Owning annual planning for the product portfolio and representing the team in discussions with executives * Owning the user experience (UX) and setting the direction for the UX design of products within the product portfolio or strategic capability * Defining processes and measurements for the team to effectively track development work and triage bugs of products in the product portfolio * Partnering with relevant stakeholders and leading and owning the development of launch and go-to-market plans of products within the product portfolio or strategic capability * Identifying issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of products in the product portfolio or strategic capability, communicating to leadership, assessing alternatives to resolve, and taking action to resolve * Ensuring customer and business goals remain aligned with identified customer needs; setting the strategy for customer engagement and leading its execution * Engaging with internal and external thought leaders to drive product leadership within the portfolio * Leading and owning operational product strategy of the portfolio or strategic capability and ensuring alignment with other portfolio owners * Facilitating an understanding among the team of broader organizational goals and the role each team plays; auditing team goals and being accountable for product portfolio performance against broader organizational goals * Leading a team in support of achieving the company's mission; managing performance and fostering an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential * Leveraging data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision-making, assess the health and effectiveness of assigned products and related P&L impacts, and deliver recommendations to key stakeholders * Developing and presenting communications, frequently to senior leadership, communicating the desired message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient * Monitoring technology trends and anticipating their impact on the product roadmap; leveraging this understanding to drive innovation * Collaborating with the broader product and technology management community to understand dependencies and create a community of practice **Essential Qualifications** * 12 years of experience in software engineering, data science, and/or product management * 7 years of direct team leadership experience across software engineering, product management, or data science * Prior experience in marketing, customer, and retail media networks analytics, building, deploying, and operationalizing highly scalable, resilient, and critical data technology solutions solving business problems in a product model * Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree) **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with software development teams to launch online products * Experience with large-scale order management and inventory systems * Experience with customer relationship management systems * Master's degree in business administration or similar advanced degree **What We Offer** * Competitive salary range: $179,000.00 - $340,100.00 annually * Opportunity to work with a dynamic team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers * Collaborative and inclusive work environment * Professional development opportunities * Flexible work arrangements * Comprehensive benefits package **About Our Culture** At blithequark, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
