About the Position

In this critical role, you will be the face and voice of blithequark, interacting with our valued customers to address their concerns, provide information about our products and services, and identify opportunities to offer new solutions that meet their evolving needs. Your ability to listen actively, think critically, and communicate effectively will be essential in delivering a world-class customer experience that sets us apart from the competition. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy, upsell products and features by emphasizing their benefits, and consistently demonstrate excellent soft skills that embody the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively listen to customers to understand and address their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Upsell products and features by highlighting their benefits and value proposition to existing and potential customers.
  • Demonstrate exceptional soft skills to provide the best possible customer service experience, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide accurate and timely information about current plans and products, as well as new solutions that align with customer needs and preferences.
  • Navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy to efficiently manage customer interactions and resolve issues.
  • Identify and position new solutions that meet customer needs, enhancing their overall experience and deepening their relationship with blithequark.

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following essential requirements:

  • High-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 10 MBPS (satellite internet is not acceptable).
  • A USB wired headset with a noise-canceling microphone to ensure high-quality voice interactions.
  • Be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Maintain a quiet, secured workspace that is free from distractions and interruptions.
  • Reside in Texas, as this position is specifically for candidates living in the state.
  • Have at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
  • Possess a professional, positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be experienced in using a computer in a work or non-work setting, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software applications quickly.
  • Thrive in a highly structured environment with set schedules and performance metrics.
  • Have open availability, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of a 24/7 customer service operation.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable and will be considered an asset in your application:

  • Previous experience working in a remote customer service role, with a proven track record of success in a similar position.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technologies used in customer service environments.
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, which can be an advantage in serving a diverse customer base.
