This role is work from home and all equipment is provided. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration. Type: 9-month contract starting in November, opportunity for extension or full-time offer Schedule: 8-hour shift between 5am - Midnight CST, 5 days a week which may or may not include a weekend day(s) Pay: $56.30-$59.40 an hour, based on location • Training for the first four weeks is Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm CST. This training time is subject to change. • Shift after training is an 8-hour shift with one-half or an hour lunch. Candidate must be available as early as 5am and as late as midnight. • Candidate will work 5 days a week which may or may not include a weekend day(s). Primary Responsibilities • Serve as a clinical resource working from a computer, reviewing prior authorizations and receiving phone calls from prior authorization pharmacy technicians and/or healthcare providers to gather, clarify, and assess detailed clinical information. • Interpret medical and pharmacy policy criteria to make sound and timely coverage determinations in accordance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines. • Consult directly with prescribing physicians and healthcare providers to clarify clinical questions, interpret guideline criteria, and provide decisions on prior authorization requests. • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and/or prescribers to provide clinical insights on appropriate medication usage. Recommend cost-effective, formulary-compliant therapeutic alternatives when applicable, supporting optimal patient care and medication access. Required Qualifications • Bachelors or Doctorate of Pharmacy • Active State Pharmacist License • 6+ months of pharmacist experience • Able to work 5am to 12 midnight with ability to work flexible hours, including OT and weekends • Must reside within Texas Why work for Adecco? • Weekly Pay • 401(k) Plan • Skills Training • Excellent medical, dental, + vision benefits IMPORTANT: This Pharmacist job is being recruited for by Adecco’s Healthcare & Life Sciences division, not your local Adecco Branch Office.
