Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
- Team Leadership: Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve operational excellence.
- Operational Management: Manage safety, quality, productivity, and ensure customer delivery promises are kept.
- Collaboration: Work closely with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop and implement plans that meet business objectives.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
- Work Environment: Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud, with variable temperatures and weather conditions, especially in delivery stations with outside loading departments.
- Adaptability: Continuously climb and descend stairs in sites with stairs, demonstrating adaptability to different work environments.
