Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team at blithequark. As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the enterprise data model, defining and maintaining the data technology architecture, and analyzing and aligning with other business models. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving data platform architectural decisions and development requirements, ensuring the most effective structure design from a technical performance, scalability, and operating cost perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a proper description of the facts and facts systems, including facts models, facts flow diagrams, facts dictionaries, and technical metadata.
  • Understands enterprise information needs and develops and maintains the enterprise data model.
  • Analyzes and aligns with other business models, defining and maintaining the data technology architecture, data integration architecture, data warehouse, and BI architecture.
  • Defines and maintains enterprise taxonomies and namespaces, as well as the meta-facts architecture.
  • Conceptualizes the general facts architectural framework for large, complicated evaluation of facts to be used throughout the enterprise.
  • Collaborates with Data Engineers on data model, its maintenance, and optimization, as well as end-to-end data-driven integration strategy.
  • Participates in growing the future nation data structure requirements, guidelines, and principles.
  • Optimizes performance of queries and ELT/ETL procedures, enhancing batch workouts by optimizing for more contemporary, near real-time capabilities.
  • Builds high-quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions and drives data platform architectural choices and development requirements.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in data/analytics architecture, engineering design, configuration experience, and/or a related discipline, OR a High School/GED and at least 7 years of experience in data/analytics architecture, engineering design, configuration experience, and/or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of experience in domain-specific Architecture.
  • Experience developing cloud-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps.
  • At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 2 years of direct management, indirect management, and/or cross-functional team management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within the state and out of the state).

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Technology.
  • Advanced experience in data architecture, engineering design, and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
