Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst – Supply Chain Systems and Data Entry Specialist to manage and support our warehouse management framework, as well as act as a liaison between our IT and application development departments. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT, supply chain management, and data entry, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $25 per hour and the opportunity to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the warehouse management framework, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Act as a liaison between the IT and application development departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Work with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement new solutions
  • Coordinate data backups and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
  • Provide technical support for all data processing equipment, including printers and terminals
  • Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN) design and infrastructure
  • Implement new software releases and updates
  • Track and report inventory levels, including stock supplies, forms, and other materials
  • Supervise non-exempt staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain control tables within the warehouse management system (WMS) and ensure access security
  • Monitor system performance and ensure it is available and accessible to all end-users
  • Manage peripheral connections to the WMS, including Neoware terminals, RF devices, and printers
  • Develop reporting tools for users to have better visibility into the WMS and operational metrics

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as IT, supply chain management, or business administration
  • 2+ years of IT experience, including Windows, Unix, SQL Server, Oracle, and other relevant technologies
  • 2+ years of experience in a supply chain or logistics environment, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and data entry principles
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, MS-Excel, Access, and MS-Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, with a focus on supply chain management or logistics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively
