About the Role

Our Support team is the first point of contact for the blithequark community, and we are seeking a Customer Support Specialist who embodies excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mentality. As an expert user of our mobile and web-based tools, you will ensure the success of our logistics services and deliver a great experience for our users. This team operates 24 hours/7 days per week, and Customer Support Specialists work full-time on a 4-day workweek schedule that may include non-traditional hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phone, email, and text-based support to blithequark customers, partners, users, and other community members, addressing all concerns politely and using active listening skills to understand and confirm information.
  • Balances efficiency and speed in addressing questions or issues with ensuring a high-quality customer experience, proactively monitoring in-progress deliveries and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Manage non-standard delivery situations with professionalism, empathy, and urgency, effectively using Salesforce and other internal tools to accurately log interactions and solve issues.
  • Collaborate with team members from various blithequark departments to ensure a seamless delivery experience, working together to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A combination of sales or customer service experience, optimally with a technology or logistics company, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact and connect with many types of personalities, and a proactive approach to navigating uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • The ability to quickly and efficiently problem-solve and troubleshoot, with a customer-first mentality and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements, as well as the ability to work a schedule comprised of non-standard shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Fluency in Spanish, which would be a significant asset in supporting our diverse customer base.
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) tools, demonstrating your ability to effectively use technology to solve issues and improve customer experiences.
  • A strong understanding of the logistics and delivery industry, with knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing our customers and partners.
