Job Overview
As a Manager of Customer Insights on the blithequark Media Network, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and optimizing media investments for our clients. You will work closely with our sales and account management teams to develop and implement media strategies that deliver exceptional results. Your expertise in data analysis and insights will be essential in identifying opportunities to optimize and grow our clients' media investments, and you will be responsible for presenting your findings and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual strategic learning plans for businesses supported by the blithequark Media Network
- Lead Quarterly Business Review Process with top clients, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth
- Serve as a subject matter expert for media performance reporting, providing guidance and support to internal partners and external clients and agencies
- Synthesize disparate data from multiple sources into strategic recommendations for future media investments, presenting findings to internal leadership and external vendor-partners
- Oversee the development and codification of best practices in media performance evaluation, data visualization, standardized reporting, and insights
- Tell data stories that support key deliverables such as sales pitches and case studies, using your expertise in data analysis and presentation to drive business results
- Oversee omnichannel advertising efforts and aggregate insights to support client-facing teams, including sales and account management
- Partner with Product and Ad Tech teams to provide input on reporting capabilities based on client feedback, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients
- Integrate knowledge across the Customer Insights & Analytics team to bring relevant insights to the blithequark Media Network Insights team and the broader retail media business, highlighting the state of the blithequark customer
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that demonstrate your ability to drive business growth and optimize media investments. The following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, or Applied Quantitative, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in insights and analytics
- 3-5 years of experience in retail media or general media analytics, with a proven track record of driving business results through data-driven decision making
- Experience in analytical, decision-making, and project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience storytelling with data and presenting data stories in a compelling and easy-to-understand way, using tools such as Microsoft Office and data visualization software
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental design, with the ability to design and execute tests to drive business results
- Experience working with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar software
Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in a related field, such as Market Research, Behavioral Psychology, or MBA, with a focus on data analysis and insights
- Leading teams and proven business impact, with experience managing global teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a retail environment, with a deep understanding of the retail media landscape and the challenges and opportunities that it presents
- Working with analytic/research software, such as SPSS, Wincross, Sawtooth, SAS, Decipher, Qualtrics, or similar tools, with the ability to design and execute complex analyses and present findings to stakeholders
