As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of customer service. **Job Description** As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, handling inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account. Your primary objective will be to gather and verify the caller's information, document it inside the appropriate system, and resolve issues efficiently. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs, provide accurate information, and ensure a seamless experience. **Key Responsibilities:** * Handle inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account * Gather and verify the caller's information and document it inside the appropriate system * Resolve complex issues efficiently, leveraging technical expertise and interpersonal skills * Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide accurate information * Work closely with the team to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution * Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge **Required Qualifications:** * Must be able to pass a background check * Must have experience in insurance and medical claims * Must provide 3 professional references * Customer service experience * Experience in a high call volume environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to deal with upset customers and de-escalate the situation * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask * Ability to navigate through multiple systems with your computer * Technical abilities sufficient to install/uninstall programs and troubleshoot your own equipment **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with Genesys Phone Systems * Previous call center experience * Previous experience working remotely * Basic technical support experience **Job Requirements:** * Must be available to train on weekdays * Training takes place during the daytime hours, approximately 6 am-4:30 pm (PST) * Must have Open Availability 24/7 to work shifts inside the company's hours of operation * Attendance is vital! * A quiet place to work at home with a locked door.
