**Job Summary**
As an Email Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries received via email, chat, or inbound calls. You will interpret messages and respond accordingly, utilizing your problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns. You will also maintain customer accounts, perform basic transactions, and communicate customer feedback to management.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage client-specific data using various resources, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
* Communicate customer complaint trends and feedback to management, providing actionable insights for improvement
* Perform basic customer account transactions, such as updates and modifications
* Maintain performance standards, adhering to established procedures and company policies
* Adapt to changes in a fast-paced team environment, remaining productive and efficient
* Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and clients to achieve common goals
* Follow established procedures and company policies, ensuring compliance and quality
**Additional Responsibilities**
* Perform other customer service functions as needed, based on workload and call volumes
* Participate in virtual training sessions, developing skills and knowledge to excel in the role
* Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customer needs
**Education and Qualifications**
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Background in customer service is advantageous, but not necessary
* Basic proficiency in PC use and skills, including Microsoft Office and email software
* Strong verbal and written English communication abilities, with excellent problem-solving skills
* Minimum typing speed requirement: 20-25 words per minute
* Experience with using a 10-key is preferred
* Competence in basic math skills
**Training and Development**
* Virtual training via Microsoft Teams, covering essential skills and knowledge for the role
* Comprehensive training program, including onboarding, product knowledge, and customer service best practices

**Work Schedule and Environment**
* Remote work opportunity, with flexible scheduling to meet customer needs
* 20-40 hour work schedules available, with options for morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
* Clean, noise-free workspace required, with high-speed internet connection and CDS Global-supplied computer equipment
* Reside in Iowa, ideally within a 60-mile radius of locations Boone, Des Moines, or Wilton
**Compensation and Benefits**
* Base wage: $14.50/hour
* Shift differential: 2nd Shift = $0.75 for each paid hour if 50% or more of scheduled hours occur between 4pm-12am on a routine and reoccurring basis
* Weekend Shift: $3.75/hour for hours worked between 3am Saturday to 11pm Sunday
