**Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments Specialist (Remote)**

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments Specialist, you will play a critical role in processing trade deal purchases, determining and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. Your expertise will be essential in processing corporate activity activities, settling and reconciling transactions, and processing and reconciling returns activity. You will also be responsible for analyzing complex and escalated issues, testing and validating new innovation enhancements, and working with external partners to ensure seamless transactions. In this remote role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional results. You will engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce, and will directly interact with and embody TD Ameritrade's values in your daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, opposing agencies, and other external business partners. **Key Responsibilities:** * Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and determine/address breaks recognized between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents * Process corporate activity activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity * Analyze complex and escalated issues, test and validate new innovation enhancements, and work with external partners to ensure seamless transactions * Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding * Address internal/external system improvements or concerns, root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc * Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management, remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm * Answer business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility * Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues * Prompt and correct finalization of client investing and dividend demands **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred * 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field; experience in the financial services industry a plus * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce a plus * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with TD Ameritrade or a similar financial services platform * Knowledge of regulatory commitments, such as 2340 and 15C3-3 * Experience with tax coding and corrections * Familiarity with internal/external system improvements or concerns * Experience with Substitute Expenditure moves and client investing and dividend demands **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce a plus **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** * Opportunities for professional growth and development, with a focus on advancing your skills and expertise in data entry and financial services * Access to training and development programs, including online courses and workshops * Collaborative and dynamic work environment, with a focus on teamwork and open communication * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the team **Work Environment and Company Culture:** * Remote work environment, with the flexibility to work from home or a designated workspace * Collaborative and dynamic work environment, with a focus on teamwork and open communication * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the team * Opportunities for professional growth and development, with a focus on advancing your skills and expertise in data entry and financial services **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:** * Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off * Opportunities for professional growth and development, with a focus on advancing your skills and expertise in data entry and financial services * Collaborative and dynamic work environment, with a focus on teamwork and open communication * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the team **Equal Opportunity Employer:** blithequark is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
