Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for executing medical services methodologies, driving patient wellbeing results, and ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services. You will also be involved in implementing patient intervention pharmacy programs, managing pharmacy financial performance, and providing expertise and support to other pharmacists and field leaders. As a remote data entry professional, you will be responsible for processing prescriptions from a remote setting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects
  • Drive the execution of various strategies and operations to ensure business needs are being met
  • Ensure region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines
  • Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial objectives
  • Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance
  • Support efforts on improving patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services
  • Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership
  • Conduct data and clinical reviews, making strategic moves to ensure accuracy and propriety of prescriptions
  • Review drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment
  • Give individualized patient/supplier consultation and provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a related field, as well as a current Pharmacist license as conceded by the appropriate state licensing authority. You should have experience inspiring colleagues to research and resolve issues, working with confidential information, and using time utilization skills such as prioritizing/organizing and meeting deadlines. You should also be able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary
  • Knowledge of insurance plans
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check or possibly printing worksheets)
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view or possibly running a slide show)
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or possibly print functions)
