**Job Summary**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark's CSC, you will play a critical role in assisting individuals and families with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, as well as services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange. You will utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to all Maryland consumers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service to individuals and families seeking information, enrollment assistance, and other services related to the MHC
* Assist with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, as well as services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange
* Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and CRM software to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and concerns
* Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or customer service environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse populations
* Proficiency in using computer software and technology, including CRM systems and online platforms
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a healthcare or insurance-related field
* Familiarity with Medicaid and health insurance regulations and policies
