You'll be responsible for processing transactions, resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining the highest level of compliance with regulatory requirements. If you're passionate about finance, customer service, and working in a dynamic environment, this role is an ideal fit for you. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Completing statistical access and balancing features * Coordinating return items with contributors, door vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions * Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing * Working member cases/transactions assigned * Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws * Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams * Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns * Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching * Completing daily balancing and department closing * Obtaining information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of domestic and international wire transfer requests * Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing wire transfer information * Communicating with the vendor to process wire transfers * Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming wire transfer laws * Depositing check returns, studying member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing wire transfers * Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and court fees **Essential and Preferred Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience * Previous customer/member service experience * Previous banking or Credit Union experience * Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software * Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance * Must pass relevant blithequark and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
