About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Care Representative to join our remote pharmacy support team. As a Customer Care Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences through empathy, technical expertise, and a passion for helping others. Key Responsibilities

  • Virtually assist customers and other advisors over the phone, email, and web with billing/insurance verification, product, or service questions
  • Manage both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers
  • Proactively identify solutions to questions you anticipate our customers having in each interaction, demonstrating a proactive and customer-centric approach
  • Take a hands-on approach to resolving every issue, owning it from start to finish or partnering with pharmacists and pharmacy staff if clinical advisement is necessary
  • Provide best-in-class service experience for our customers while working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every interaction is personalized and empathetic
  • Help answer customer inquiries regarding their insurance and copays, as well as shipping needs, demonstrating a strong understanding of our services and policies

  • Serve customers in a timely manner to ensure we are maximizing our relationship with them, building trust and loyalty through every interaction

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18 years of age or older)
  • 6+ months of professional experience working with computer and web-based tools, demonstrating a strong technical foundation
  • Experience multitasking with phone and computer skills, able to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously
  • 1+ year of relevant phone or email customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy environment
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), able to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience working in a customer service or call center, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer-centric principles and practices
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a pharmacy or medical setting
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, able to communicate with customers in multiple languages
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
