About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team, responsible for all aspects related to entering medication orders for various facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Pharmacy Technician at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all Third-Party claims are billed properly and that our facilities receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities, responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Responsible for accurate data entry of patient profiles and medications, maintaining accurate information for patients and facilities
  • Ensures that all billing and crediting for each facility is accurate and completed in a timely manner each month
  • Maintains reasonable production levels as determined by supervisor, working efficiently to meet deadlines and priorities
  • May be required to travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges, as needed
  • Assists in orienting and training new employees, sharing knowledge and expertise to support team growth and development
  • Completes all mandatory and regulatory training programs, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, with a preferred AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or a related field
  • Preferred experience in hospital, long-term care, or retail pharmacy settings, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and customer service principles
  • Registration with the State of Vermont, New Hampshire, or Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician, depending on your location
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with facilities, patients, and team members
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Broad knowledge of medications and physician orders, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting
  • General computer and keyboarding skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • 3-6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician, with a strong foundation in pharmacy operations and customer service
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Additional certifications or training in pharmacy technology, customer service, or a related field

Compensation and Benefits
