Job Summary

As a Disability Access Service Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our visitors with disabilities, utilizing our various services and resources to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. You will work closely with our visitors to understand their needs, provide information and guidance, and resolve any issues or concerns they may have. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively and effectively respond to visitor inquiries related to disability access services, providing information, guidance, and support to resolve issues and concerns
  • Utilize video chat and phone calls to communicate with visitors, adapting to different communication styles and needs
  • Assess situational scenarios to understand visitor challenges and provide personalized support and solutions
  • Offer a single point of contact for visitors with disabilities, providing pre, during, and post-visit support and guidance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of disability access services
  • Provide general information and support on retreat planning and scheduling, taking into account visitor accessibility needs
  • Offer alternative solutions and options for visitors who may not qualify for disability access services, handling concerns and issues in a professional and empathetic manner

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as customer service, hospitality, or social work
  • Knowledge and interest in blithequark's products and services, with a strong focus on customer service and support
  • Technical skills and computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and work with different systems and applications, including Microsoft Office tools and customer service software
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Comfortable with asking disclosure questions to gather important information from visitors and determine the best course of action
  • Open to being on camera in video chat and comfortable with remote work arrangements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past experience working with individuals with disabilities or accessibility needs, with a strong understanding of disability access services and resources
  • Experience in related roles, such as customer service, visitor relations, or web help desk, with a focus on providing exceptional customer support
  • Increased knowledge of amusement parks and visitor tools, such as the blithequark app and My blithequark Experience
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with visitors from diverse backgrounds
  • Familiarity with services for visitors with disabilities at blithequark, including disability access services and resources
  • Knowledge of software and systems, such as Live Connect, Customer Service Suite, MDX, VINCENT, Zendesk, and Avaya
