About the Position

We are seeking an exceptional and passionate individual to join our growing team as a Chat Support Associate. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our users have an excellent experience on our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals, providing timely and effective support through live chats, phone calls, emails, and internal discussion boards. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries via live chat, email, and phone in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and explain scenarios and solutions in a clear and concise manner, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Handle various daily and weekly administrative responsibilities, such as proactive account management, item issue reports, item reviews, credit approvals, and more, to ensure seamless support workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, partner, and corporate teams, to provide valuable insights and recommendations for enhancing our platform and tools.
  • Work closely with vendor and industry partners to streamline communication and alerts between systems, ensuring a cohesive and integrated user experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous development and expansion of our support processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to streamline support workflows.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1 year of relevant customer-facing work experience, preferably in a support or service-oriented role.
  • 2-year Associate's degree or 4-year College degree, demonstrating a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience in chat support or other customer-facing roles, with a strong understanding of the importance of timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Patient and compassionate approach when handling difficult situations, with a strong desire to learn and help customers succeed.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a tech or startup environment, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies in customer support and platform development.
  • Familiarity with intercom and/or other chat platforms, with a strong understanding of the importance of seamless and integrated user experiences.
