Job Summary: To support classroom teachers with the seamless integration of technology into the learning environment; to assist with interventions, instruction, and supervision of students in the classroom.
- Supporting the Learning Commons
- Lead Classes in STEAM Activities
- Providing reading intervention to small groups of students
- Teaching Technology lessons
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree, experience, or certification in computer technology preferred. Teacher certification and experience in an educational environment is preferred. Sixty (60) college credit hours required. As a condition of continued employment, job incumbent must have and retain a valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.
Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of instructional technologies such as: computer applications, social media technologies, desktop/laptop operations, mobile computing device and tablets, audio and visual technologies, and web-based tools; ability to effectively communicate ideas and information to students and staff; ability to model technology integration; ability to instruct others in an academic setting; ability to effectively use library related software applications. Must have good interpersonal skills.
Hours: 8:50 am - 4:10 pm
Salary: $16.40 Hourly
