About your role
The FP&A Manager is responsible for the business income statement, planning, results analysis, and reporting financials for UBQ Materials. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, CFO and Global Operations and Finance Managers to drive overall business performance and demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs... and processes.
The role is based in the US on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
• Lead all FP&A planning cycles, financial & operational target setting, critical business performance analytics, and external & internal financial communication streams.
• Own income statement analytics for all UBQ legal entities.
• Lead planning cycles including developing estimates, operating plans / forecasts / reviews and corporate reporting.
• Drive the FP&A calendar for monthly/quarterly closing, planning and estimating sessions.
• Ensure line of sight to quarterly / yearly targets through weekly pacing rhythms.
• Perform regular performance analysis vs. plan, estimates, and prior year, and also provide insightful recommendations on Sales / Contribution Margin / OPEX.
• Drive closing reviews and visibility to operational metrics.
• Help the CFO and operating leaders to explain monthly performance by driving effective metrics and explanations across P&Ls, business and functions.
• Partner in overall FP&A reporting simplification and automation.
• Drive standardization & process improvement in all aspects of income statement planning and reporting, including best practice sharing.
• Work effectively with Finance Managers and business leaders to understand & drive income opportunities.
Job requirements
• Prior experience in manufacturing and multinational companies.
• Experienced working with ERPs and BI tools.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration or Certified Public Accountant and Big Four experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Established project management skills.
• Highly skilled in working with Microsoft tools – especially with Excel and Power Points.
• Experienced working with ERPs and BI tools.
