Key Responsibilities: • Efficient and safe unloading of goods from trucks, followed by proper grouping and storage according to the company's policies, is an important task. • Load the merchandise for delivery to Dollar General stores and make sure that the items are secured properly in the truck. • Manage the use of warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a manner that is both safe and effective. • Verify the freight to confirm the precision of the handling and distribution of commodities. • Prioritizing cleanliness and orderliness in your work area is essential, in addition to upholding safety procedures. • Play an active role in inventory control by conducting frequent cycle counts and proactively addressing any discrepancies discovered. • The accomplishment of productivity goals and deadlines hinges on the willingness of team members to collaborate.
