Key Responsibilities • Therapeutic Services: Provide targeted speech-language therapy sessions for students with diverse communication needs through secure online platforms. • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct detailed evaluations to identify students' speech and language challenges and develop effective, personalized therapy plans. • IEP Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and support staff to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to each student’s unique communication goals. • Ongoing Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, modifying therapy strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement and goal achievement. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with school teams to integrate speech and language services into the broader educational plan, ensuring holistic student support. Qualifications • Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. • Certification: ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required. • Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California. • Experience: A minimum of three years in a school setting or similar environment, with experience in remote or virtual therapy preferred. • Skills: Strong teletherapy skills, exceptional diagnostic and therapeutic abilities, and effective communication and collaboration with students, families, and educators. • Personal Attributes: Compassionate, organized, adaptable, and committed to driving student success through effective communication support.
